Job summary

Magna Exteriors is hiring for an Injection Molding Technician in Vaughan, Canada. The role involves following setup instructions, inspecting presses and tooling, and performing mold changes to meet production schedules.

The position requires 3-5 years of injection molding experience, a technical education, and licenses for forklift and crane as applicable. You will work on a fast-paced line and support team training and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or post-secondary education in a technical field.
• 3-5 years injection molding experience at setup or process engineering level.
• Training/education in injection molding.
• Must perform tool changes and equipment setup on injection molding machines.
• WFH and safety requirements; ability to learn new processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow written setup instructions and complete setup papers.
• Inspect press and tooling at shift start, complete safety checklists.
• Perform mold changes and pierce dies changeover per schedule.
• Maintain production quality and housekeeping per Mytox standard.
• Provide break relief and assist in training other employees.
