Overview

A motorcycle mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of motorcycle mechanical and electrical systems. The role includes instructional duties for apprentices, ensuring accurate work orders, and performing scheduled maintenance and service tasks.

  • Adjust, repair or replace electrical system parts

Qualifications
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience
  • Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in motorcycle mechanics
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and willing to relocate to an urban area
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle
  • Manual dexterity, attention to detail, hand‑eye coordination, color discrimination, and physically demanding tasks such as bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads
  • Team player with efficient interpersonal skills, good judgement, and reliability
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident with a valid work permit
