Overview

Mortgage Broker / Agent - Remote. Our client is a rapidly expanding independent brokerage at the forefront of innovation, active in BC, Alberta, and Ontario. They are seeking brokers who embody an entrepreneurial spirit and have the determination to contribute to the team’s growth.

What you will do
  • Cultivate customer relationships by understanding their needs, wants, and desires, and build trust to assess the best mortgage options, terms, and rates to provide optimal financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with real estate professionals, lawyers, accountants, the public, lenders, and underwriters; maintain positive relationships with lending partners; qualify clients; and manage the funding process for various mortgage types (Purchase Financing, Switch/Transfers, Refinances, HELOCs, and Privates).
  • Escalate any document discrepancies or issues to the Director / Managing Broker for review and consultation.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines and maintain clear, concise notes on all files.
What you will need to succeed
  • Minimum 2 years of previous brokering or lending experience with a track record of at least $5 million.
  • Valid Mortgage Broker / Agent License.
  • Excellent communication skills; strong time management; entrepreneurial spirit; self-motivation; growth mindset; and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with a smartphone, computer, and relevant software; good understanding of financing and debt management.
