Job summary

Quanteam, the founding entity of Rainbow Partners, is hiring a Solution Architect to work with a client based in Montreal. You will lead development teams and shape architectures for Payments and Cash Management projects, with a strong emphasis on security and BI integration.

The role requires deep Java expertise, banking domain knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with international teams, including India, while working primarily in English.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a software developer with Java.
• Experience in Banking Payments or Cash Management is a plus.
• Fluent in English and French; work primarily in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage developer teams to deliver solutions on time and with quality.

We are hiring a Solution Architect to work with one of our clients based in Montreal.

Project Description

The project involves launching new products and revamping the existing system in the Payments & Cash Management department. The objective is to develop innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of the sector. The project aims to expand the product portfolio in Payments and Cash Management, leveraging Paris's significant lead and working closely with them. The focus will be on extensive Business Intelligence integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead developer teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
• Apply banking domain knowledge, particularly in Payments or Cash Management, to design relevant architectures.
• Utilize Java expertise to guide development processes and architectural decisions.
• Implement and enforce security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical architectures.
• Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards.
• Maintain effective communication with international teams, particularly in India, to coordinate efforts and deliver integrated solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a software developer, with significant time spent in Java development.
• Extensive experience in the banking sector, specifically in Payments or Cash Management, is a plus.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of managing projects from A to Z.
• Excellent understanding of security practices in software development.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is essential; candidates must be comfortable working primarily in English.
• Strong collaborative skills to work with Business Analysts and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
