Job summary

A provincial school board in Timmins is seeking a Supervision Monitor to oversee students during breaks and ensure their safety. The ideal candidate should have a Grade 12 diploma and experience working with children. Responsibilities include managing student behavior and ensuring protocol compliance. This role offers working hours from 10:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday until June 25, 2026.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Monitorand assist with arrival and departure of students during bus duty.
  • Organizestudents upon arrival and departure in an orderly manner.
  • Monitoroutside yard duty during all recess periods.
  • Supervisehallways, classroom, and bathroom checks.
  • Monitorclassrooms/lunch areas during breaks.
  • Monitorstudents in designated areas during inclement weather.
  • Ensureadherence to all COVID-19 and school safety protocols.
  • Alwaysensure the security and safety of students.
  • Addressdisciplinary issues and report any concerns regarding student behaviour tothe Principal/Vice Principal.
  • Seekout Principal/Vice Principal guidance when required.
