Charles River Laboratories in Senneville, QC, is seeking an Analyst for the Molecular Biology team to perform DNA/RNA purification and qPCR analyses, ensuring data quality in GLP-compliant workflows.

You will develop and validate methods, document results, and collaborate with scientists to optimize procedures. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, on-site with shuttle access and benefits.

Job Overview

As an Analyst for our Molecular Biology team located at the Senneville site, you will perform sample analysis work in a laboratory environment, perform data analysis to determine if results meet expectations and record data in accordance with company policies and standards to meet quality and accuracy requirements.

• Perform a variety of DNA and RNA purification assays as well as qPCR and RT-qPCR assays on platforms such as Quantstudio, QXone (ddPCR), Maxwell, Quantigen, and Nanostring;
• Perform method development, validation, and sample analysis testing;

• Work in collaboration with scientific staff to optimize methods.

Role Specific Information

• Location: 22022 route Transcanadienne, Senneville, QC, H9X 1C1;
• Transportation: We offer a shuttle service from Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site. In addition, the site is accessible from the Anse-à-l’Orme REM station via STM bus services. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
• Annual bonus based on performance;
• Schedule: Monday to Friday daytime. Depending on business needs, you may have to do overtime;
• Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week;
• Salary: $23.75/hr.
