Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking an experienced Modern Workplace Engineer to lead Intune and endpoint management initiatives across platforms. The role emphasizes automation with PowerShell, Graph API integrations, and Azure services to drive Zero Trust and provisioning improvements.

You will design, deploy, and maintain policy frameworks, automation pipelines, and reporting dashboards, collaborating with security and IT teams to enhance enterprise device health and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API development and integrations.
  • Knowledge of Azure Services, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
  • Experience managing Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.

The Role: Intune Automation Engineer - AI & Modern Workplace

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft Intune solutions for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Configure and maintain compliance policies, configuration profiles, security baselines, and conditional access policies.
  • Manage application packaging, deployment, updates, and lifecycle management.
  • Implement Windows Autopilot and modern device provisioning solutions.
  • Support Zero Trust security initiatives and endpoint compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell automation frameworks.
  • Automate Intune administrative tasks using Microsoft Graph API.
  • Build workflows using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Power Automate, and Functions.
  • Create automated reporting, monitoring, and remediation solutions.
  • Develop proactive device health monitoring and self-healing mechanisms.
  • Integrate Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered solutions into endpoint management operations.
  • Develop AI-assisted automation for incident response, troubleshooting, and endpoint remediation.
  • Leverage AI services to create intelligent reporting and operational insights.
  • Utilize AI to predict compliance risks, deployment failures, and performance issues.
  • Drive endpoint modernization initiatives and process improvements.
  • Create reusable automation frameworks and deployment standards.
  • Implement DevOps practices for endpoint management solutions.
  • Develop dashboards and analytics for operational metrics and executive reporting.
  • Support regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Conduct security assessments and remediation activities.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and change management standards.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Management.
  • Strong hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Experience with Microsoft Graph API development and integrations.
  • Knowledge of Azure Services, Azure Automation, Logic Apps, and Power Platform.
  • Experience managing Windows 10/11 enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD).
  • Experience with Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust frameworks.
  • Experience with Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot Studio, and AI integration projects.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and AI-driven automation.
  • Experience with Python, REST APIs, and cloud automation.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience supporting large enterprise environments (10,000+ endpoints).

Demonstrated expertise and a minimum of five years' experience in:

  • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MCM,Intune), Entra ID, Windows Autopilot.
