Job summary

Heartstrings Pet Hospice seeks a Veterinarian to deliver in-home hospice and peaceful euthanasia care across the Houston area. You will work with families to provide meaningful end-of-life services, maintaining professional autonomy with supportive coordination from the team.

Hospice care experience is not required; transition support is provided. We offer both full-time and part-time opportunities, with competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits to support a balanced lifestyle.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active North Carolina veterinary license or eligibility.
• Valid driver's license.
• Availability consistent with the position's schedule, including some weekends.
• Hospice experience is not required; we'll support you as you transition into this field.

Responsibilities

We offer 2-Day, 3-Day, 4-Day, and 5-Day employment opportunities throughout Houston, Cloverleaf, Pasadena - Texas and surrounding communities.

Our compensation structure is designed to reward your dedication while providing financial stability, with 4-Day positions starting at $110,000 annually and 5-day positions offering a $135,000 Annual Base Salary, Plus Additional Quarterly Performance-Based Bonus Opportunities.

Our Two, Three-Day and Self-Managed Flex Scheduling Opportunities Available with Pro-Rated Compensation adjusted based on the agreed-upon schedule.
