This position is night shift only (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and includes a mix of mobile patrols and static security duties, with some assignments requiring sitting for extended periods of time.

Patrol Areas

Assignments are primarily in Downtown Toronto Parks (M6H 4B2)

Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard

• Conduct mobile and foot patrols of assigned areas
• Perform static security duties, including monitoring while seated for long periods
• Enforce Trespass to Property Act and apply trespass-with-rights procedures
• Monitor parks, public spaces, and facilities during overnight hours
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies promptly
• Complete detailed incident reports and documentation
• Liaise with law enforcement and emergency services when required

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada
• Valid G2 or G Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (required)
• First Aid & CPR certification (required)
• Ability to work night shifts only (7 PM – 7 AM)
• Ability to sit for extended periods and patrol by foot and vehicle
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must successfully complete Handcuff and Baton training
• Strong observation, communication, and decision-making skills
