Job summary

TD Canada Trust in Toronto, Ontario, is seeking an Intermediate iOS developer to join the Canadian Mobile Banking team. You will design, develop and deliver native iOS solutions within an agile environment, collaborating with 2-3 developers across iOS and Android to ensure seamless, secure mobile experiences for customers.

You’ll bring 1-3 years of mobile software development, a strong computer science or engineering background, and hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI and UIKit.

What You'll Do

Intermediate iOS developer to work as part of our Canadian Mobile Banking development team. As part of the team, you will innovate, design and deliver solutions for a variety of projects related to our mobile banking platform to deliver legendary mobile experiences for our customers. You will have experience in developing native iOS solutions within an agile development model with focus on seamless delivery, innovation, and stability of the mobile platforms. You will be working with a team 2-3 developers on both iOS and Android platforms.

You’ll be expected to work primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.

Job Requirements - What You Need to Succeed

• Undergraduate degree, Postgraduate degree or Technical Certificate
• Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
• 1-3 years relevant experience

Must Have Skills

• 3 + years in Software Development
• 1-3+ years of experience with Swift programming language
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing iOS applications using SwiftUI and UIKit
• Multithreaded applications experience including Swift Concurrency Async/Await and Combine
• Experience with architecture patterns like POP (Protocol Oriented Programming), MVVM and reactive e.g Combine
• Experience with Unit Testing including Swift Testing, XCTest, Xcode instruments
• Strong working knowledge of WKWebView and SFSafariViewController for integrating responsive web solutions using SSO patterns and best practices

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience working with Accessibility/Voiceover, Dynamic type and Dark mode
• Understanding of Objective C
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and scripts e.g Jenkins
• Experience with custom view animation and transition
