Guardteck Security is looking for a friendly, outgoing and experienced Mobile Security Supervisor.

Our Mobile Loss Prevention and Static Team provide 24‑hour customized security services to a wide range of clients and facilities across the Lower Mainland including office buildings, shopping centres, educational institutions, parking facilities and private residences.

Successful candidates will demonstrate effective problem‑solving skills, the ability to maintain self‑control and to make quick decisions during emergency situations.

What you will be doing :
  • Assist with all security operations
  • Lead a team of security professionals
  • Ensure the site‑specific operation procedures are up to date
  • Ensure tasks are completed in an efficient manner
  • Audit security work and interactions with customers on an ongoing basis
  • Proactively mentor and train employees and provide regular feedback
  • Assist with employee rewards and appreciation program
  • Help manage scheduling
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Communicate with the operations manager
  • Exercise good judgment and make decisions that benefit the customer and the property
  • Become part of the team and be a key part of the customer’s success
Skills and Qualifications that you need to have :
  • Valid BC security license
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean abstract
  • 1‑2 years or more experience as a security guard
  • Leadership experience is an asset
  • Prior supervisory experience an asset
  • Proficient in the English language (verbal & written)
  • Top‑notch customer service with previous experience considered a strong asset
  • Professional approach to role; acting in a disciplined, honest and ethical manner
  • Must be able to follow procedures and set routines effectively
  • Strong observation and communication skills
