Job summary

Nurse Next Door is seeking an Advanced Foot Care Nurse (RPN) to deliver routine and advanced foot care for our growing senior client base in Georgetown, Milton and other Halton areas.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, passionate about preventative care and patient education, with an Active RPN and Advanced Foot Care Certificate. This mobile role offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay ($40/hour plus 4% vacation pay) and local office support.

Qualifications

• Active RPN in good standing with the CNO.
• Advanced Foot Care Certificate.
• Experience in geriatric or diabetic care is an asset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable transportation (mobile role).

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive foot assessment
• Trim and manage normal and thickened toenails
• Reduce corns and calluses safely
• Provide diabetic foot care
• Identify high-risk conditions and refer as needed
• Educate clients on proper foot hygiene and footwear
• Maintain strict infection control and sterilization standards
• Accurately document treatments and client care plans
