Job summary

PhysioCare At Home is seeking a Mobile Physiotherapist (independent contractor) to deliver one-on-one in-home physiotherapy across Dartmouth. The role includes scheduling, referrals, and billing handled by the company so you can focus on client care and mobility improvements.

Ideal candidates hold a physiotherapy degree, are registered in Canada, and own a reliable vehicle. A flexible schedule and supportive clinical mentorship are provided, with a team of allied health professionals nearby.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Physiotherapy degree and be currently registered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client care.
• Ability to work independently in clients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive in-home physiotherapy assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans focused on strength, balance, mobility, pain management, and independence.
• Provide evidence-based exercise programs and educate clients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and maintain clinical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive in-home physiotherapy assessments

• Educate clients and caregivers to support safe mobility and independence at home

Qualifications

Required:

• Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university

• Current registration as a Physiotherapist

• Valid Canadian driver's licence

• Reliable vehicle for community travel

Preferred:

• Experience working with older adults

• Experience in community, home health, or neurological rehabilitation

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Passion for client-centred care and lifelong learning
