Job summary

Mantu in Canada seeks an experienced Mobile Developer to join an Agile team delivering and maintaining cross‑platform mobile apps. You will work with .NET MAUI and C# to build iOS and Android apps, contribute to code quality, and participate in CI/CD improvements.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in software development, strong Visual Studio and Azure DevOps experience, REST API knowledge, and hands-on Agile/DevOps practice. Bilingual French/English required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience with .NET MAUI and C#.
• Experience building mobile apps for iOS and Android using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Strong REST API knowledge and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum, DevOps, Git, CI/CD, and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C# for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to deliver high-quality features aligned with business priorities.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs and backend services while ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain automated tests, unit tests, and CI/CD pipelines to support high-quality software delivery practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues, provide application support, and contribute to ongoing optimization, refactoring, and modernization efforts.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI and C# for iOS and Android platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Designers, and Developers to deliver high-quality features aligned with business priorities.

Qualifications

• +4 years of professional software development experience, including significant hands-on experience with .NET MAUI (mandatory) and C# within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Strong experience developing mobile applications for iOS and Android using Visual Studio and Azure DevOps.
• Solid knowledge of REST API development and integration, object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments, including Git, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing practices.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a remote collaborative environment.
• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is considered an asset, as are skills in SQL Server, MongoDB, ASP.NET, WPF/WCF, React, Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, and technical leadership or mentoring activities.
