Mobile Developer – Opportunity Snapshot

As a Software Developer, Mobile at Pixieset, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of features and product initiatives for both iOS and Android platforms. From ideation and design to production release and ongoing support, you’ll play a pivotal role in every stage of the development process. Your Impact

• Design, develop, and maintain hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android using Ionic, Vue.js, and PHP
• Build and optimize scalable backend services, including API development, database management, and authentication
• Ensure mobile applications are responsive, user-friendly, and performant across different devices
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code across both frontend and backend systems
• Deliver end-to-end solutions, from UI / UX improvements to backend optimizations and system enhancements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and work closely with team members to solve complex technical challenges
• Participate in code reviews, follow best practices, and contribute to improving development workflows
• Research and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance performance, security, and the overall development process

Role Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer
• Experience successfully launching 2+ mobile apps in production environments
• Experience with Vue.js, PHP, and cross-platform development frameworks (Ionic, React Native, etc.)
• Experience with relational database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
• Solid understanding of basic data structures and algorithms, and web technologies including HTTP, RESTful services, and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and strong communication skills

The typical salary range for this position is CAD $77,900 - $128,100 annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience and market data.
