Job summary

A regional mental health organization in Northeastern Ontario is seeking a Justice Case Manager for its Enhanced Mobile Crisis Rapid Response Team. This position involves responding to individuals in mental health or substance use crises, alongside the Greater Sudbury Police Services, to reduce emergency visits and prevent criminal justice involvement. Candidates must hold a degree in a relevant field and have at least two years of mental health experience. Flexible hours and various certifications are required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the mental health field.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License & access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Knowledge of Ontario Human Rights Code, Criminal Code of Canada, and Child and Family legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use crises.
  • Work in partnership with Greater Sudbury Police Services (GSPS).
  • Participate in joint police/mental health initiative.

Skills

Flexible hours availability
Knowledge of Mental Health legislation
Certification in First Aid & CPR

Education
