Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking a Glass Technician to service four Greater Victoria locations (Langford, Victoria, Saanichton, and Sidney) with a van for mobile work. You will install and repair auto glass in-shop or on the road, ensuring safety, quality, and timely service.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, post-secondary automotive repair training, Red Seal certification, and at least 3 years of auto glass experience. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Automotive Repair Program.
• Minimum 3 years of Auto Glass Technician experience.
• Red Seal certification.

Responsibilities

• Installs auto glass and other auto glass products in-shop or on a mobile basis.
• Utilizes the proper tools and techniques to ensure efficient, timely, and quality installation service.
• Loads glass in the van and completes required paperwork.
• Immediately follow up with the General Manager on issues in installation.
• Seek learning opportunities to maintain high quality and low return rate.
