Job summary

IBM Consulting in Canada is seeking an Intern Machine Learning Developer to join a fast-paced team delivering enterprise AI solutions on cloud platforms.

You will learn industry-leading ML techniques, collaborate with a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers and product managers, and contribute to real client engagements or internal initiatives during a 4-month term starting January 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience with machine learning, data mining, or statistics via internships or projects.
• Proficient in Python or similar scripting languages.
• Hands-on with GenAI tools and LLM concepts (prompt engineering, RAG).
• Able to communicate ideas clearly and work independently and in teams.
• Must be eligible to work full-time for 4 months starting January 2027; fluent in French for Quebec role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy ML solutions for enterprise-scale problems.
• Collaborate with Partners, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Architects and Software Engineers.
• Learn and apply industry-leading ML technologies on cloud platforms (IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS, Edge).
• Work on projects generating value for client engagements.
• Use GenAI frameworks and models on cloud platforms.
