Job summary

First General Services Vancouver Island is seeking a Lead Technician (Mitigation Leader) to evaluate, report on, and document key aspects of mitigation projects. You will guide the team, report to stakeholders, and ensure timely, high-quality restoration work across Vancouver Island.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in the restoration industry.
• WRT certification required; other IICRC certifications are an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to safely use a variety of power tools and equipment.
• Class 5 BC driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain up to date knowledge of IICRC standards for Water Mitigation.
• Maintain up to date knowledge of safe work procedures for remediation processes.
• Perform site inspections and complete documentation within timeline guidelines.
• Lead the team to establish a productive pace of work and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of FG equipment and tools.
• Direct the technician team to complete work per the work order.
