Hudbay Minerals is seeking Mine Surveyors to join the Copper Mountain Mine near Princeton, BC on a 7x7 rotation, supporting Mining Operations and Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in mining or surveying and a passion for outdoor work in a collaborative team setting.

Qualified applicants will hold a technical diploma in mining or surveying, 1–3 years of open pit mining experience, a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license, and proficiency with survey equipment.

What You'll Need

• Technical diploma in mining, survey, or equivalent experience
• 1 - 3 years of open pit mining experience
• Valid Class 5 British Columbia driver's license and access to personal transportation
• Working knowledge of open pit mining
• Skilled in use of modern survey equipment
• Ability to perform physically demanding fieldwork, including lifting up to 20 kgs and navigating uneven terrain
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Google Suite
