Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering and professional registration (PEng or EIT with APEGA).
• Experience in mine planning, operation or closure phases.
• Experience with MinePlan or Deswik.CAD software.
• Willingness to travel and coordinate across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Support the mine planning team and other disciplines, guiding core processes and safety culture.
• Create design surfaces, schedules, and cost estimates for life-of-mine, tailings, and closure plans.
• Assist in proposal development by outlining scopes and estimating schedules and costs.
• Oversee budgets, scope, and schedules; lead workshops and risk analyses with stakeholders.
• Engage with clients to foster relationships and identify new opportunities.
• Review mine planning investigations to support tailings and site works.
• Lead interdisciplinary project teams and mentor junior staff.
