Job summary

THOAR Mining Management Ltd. in Saskatoon is seeking a Mine Technician to perform routine survey work, ventilation surveys, and maintain mine drawings under minimal supervision.

You will install and calibrate geotechnical and ventilation equipment, sample ore, and support productivity projects while complying with OH&S and environmental rules. Must have a Geoscience or Engineering diploma and be authorized to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Geoscience/mining related knowledge.
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases.
• Ability to interpret drawings and plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine survey functions for mining machine advancement and layout.
• Conduct ventilation surveys and record airflow and gas measurements; audit ventilation plans.
• Update, maintain, and distribute mine drawings.
