Overview

Mine Superintendent

Underground Operation | Canada

We’re supporting a producing underground mine in Canada with the appointment of a Mine Superintendent to join the site leadership team.

This is a site based role reporting into the Mine Manager, with strong exposure to senior leadership and a clear development pathway as the operation moves through an important stabilization and build phase in early 2026.

The mine is operating and producing, with an experienced leadership team in place. This role offers the opportunity to have real impact underground by driving day to day execution, reinforcing standards, and supporting alignment between crews, planning, and contractors as the operation matures.

The successful candidate will work closely with seasoned operators at site and corporate level, with genuine mentorship and progression built into the role.

Responsibilities and requirements
  • Mine Superintendent role at a producing underground operation
  • Strong underground mining experience required
  • Mining engineer background preferred but not essential
  • Hands on leadership style with a strong focus on execution, safety, and people
  • Experience working in contractor heavy environments
  • Clear communicator with a practical, accountable approach
