Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in mining engineering in a hard-rock open pit environment.
• Authorization to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship.
• Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for ore scanning source.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop rolling weekly and quarterly equipment operation plans.
• Manage the Mine’s geology team, providing leadership and development.
• Ensure design amendments are communicated for corrective actions.
• Incorporate geotechnical recommendations into Ground Control Management Plan.
• Perform regular pit inspections to ensure compliance with design parameters.
• Coordinate plans and schedules with the operations group.

Proficient in MS Office

Mine design, planning and scheduling packages (Vulcan, Deswik, XPAC or SPRY)

Education
