Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in mining engineering in a hard-rock open pit environment.
- Authorization to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship.
- Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for ore scanning source.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop rolling weekly and quarterly equipment operation plans.
- Manage the Mine’s geology team, providing leadership and development.
- Ensure design amendments are communicated for corrective actions.
- Incorporate geotechnical recommendations into Ground Control Management Plan.
- Perform regular pit inspections to ensure compliance with design parameters.
- Coordinate plans and schedules with the operations group.

Proficient in MS Office
Mine design, planning and scheduling packages (Vulcan, Deswik, XPAC or SPRY)

Well-developed written and oral communication skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mine Engineering
Professional certification in good standing (PEO, P.Geo, or C.Tech)
