A well-established manufacturing company in Burlington is seeking an Industrial Millwright to oversee the maintenance of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal license and over 5 years of experience maintaining mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling maintenance to minimize downtime and ensuring equipment reliability. This position offers an hourly wage between CA$ 40 and CA$ 44.

• DAY SHIFT (straight shift) - 6 : 00am to 2 : 00pm OR NIGHT SHIFT (straight shift) : 10 : 00pm to 6 : 00am
• Oversee maintenance of production equipment with a continuous improvement mindset
• Plan and schedule maintenance duties to reduce downtime
• Ensuring equipment reliability and continuously improving maintenance processes
• Oversee maintenance and repair of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure to ensure optimal operation
• Handle repairs, installations, and upgrades in compliance with safety regulations
• Advise plant management of any major equipment problems
• Develop and execute PM schedules to minimize downtime and prolong equipment life

Qualifications :

• Licensed Red Seal Industrial Millwright
• 5 yrs+ experience maintaining mechanical equipment
• Any experience with steel tubing an asset but not required
• Ability to read and analyze blueprints, drawings
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Computer literate
