Applied Industrial Technologies is looking for a full-time Hydraulic Technician/Mechanic - Millwrights, Heavy Duty Mechanics, and Machinists based in Surrey, BC, with a balanced mix of shop work and field service. Field service may occasionally require overnight travel within BC and some planned weekend work, with overtime provided.
Reporting to the Shop Foreman, you will play a key role in inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding hydraulic components and systems while supporting the rebuild and growth of the AIT Surrey Shop.
In this position, you will be responsible for performing high-quality hydraulic repairs and diagnostics in both the shop and the field (approximately 50/50 on average), contributing to operational excellence and customer satisfaction across diverse industries.

To qualify, you will need 2+ years of hands-on experience in hydraulic systems, mechanical repairs, or industrial maintenance, ideally supported by training as a Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Machinist. A valid driver’s license is required for this role.
Certification as a Red Seal Journeyperson Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Machinist is considered a strong asset, but candidates with significant hands-on expertise will also be considered. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, training, and certification level.
