Job Title: Millwright

Job Description

We are seeking a 433A ticketed Millwright to perform all duties within the regulated trade. The successful candidate will perform preventive maintenance on various machinery throughout the facility, including but not limited to welders and weld fixtures. The role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, complete overhauls, and perform major repairs on all plant machinery and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on various machinery, including welders and weld fixtures.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Complete overhauls and major repairs on plant machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot machines and determine actions for each breakdown.
• Dismantle equipment, identify all component parts, and reassemble.
• Apply working knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a full‑service automotive supplier specializing in the manufacture and supply of complex high value‑add automotive metal components, including front and rear impact assemblies for pick‑ups and the heavy truck market. The position offers day shifts from 7 am–3 pm and afternoon shifts from 3 pm–11 pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oshawa, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $42.13 - $42.13/hr.
