THE ROLE

Are you an experienced Millwright ready to work with cutting-edge technology? Reporting to the Parts & Service Manager, this Millwright will be a vital member executing field installations, conducting thorough inspections, performing troubleshooting and repairs, and leading preventive maintenance efforts. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and reliability of our client’s operations, ensuring they receive top-tier service wherever they are located.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide expert troubleshooting and technical support to ensure swift resolution of issues and minimize client downtime.
  • Conduct thorough on-site evaluations, assessing equipment, systems, and processes to identify areas needing improvement or repairs.
  • Safely operate hoisting and lifting equipment—such as cranes, jacks, and tractors—during machinery installations, set‑ups, and repairs.
  • Install, align, disassemble, and relocate industrial machinery (e.g., pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnaces, and generators) according to detailed layout plans using both hand and power tools.
  • Prepare and submit field service reports and inspection checklists to the Service Coordinator in a timely manner.
  • Adhere strictly to the company’s "Service Department Travel Guidelines" to ensure consistency and safety during travel.
  • Inspect and assess machinery to detect and diagnose irregularities, malfunctions, or signs of wear.
  • Adjust machinery, and repair or replace faulty components to restore optimal performance.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and other essential upkeep on machinery.
  • Oversee or assist in the construction of machinery foundations, or guide other workers in these tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Some travel may be required
  • Carry a class "G" or higher drivers license - Valid clear driver’s abstract
  • Significant amount of time on‑site, which may involve travel to client locations, manufacturing plants, or construction sites
  • Role requires flexibility for emergency breakdowns or late scheduling changes occur.
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
  • In the absence of supervision, capable of guiding the work needed to achieve the set objectives.
  • Ability to understand and comply with Health and Safety, Quality Management Systems and Company policies.
  • Must have a team driven attitude, work ethic and always present themselves in a professional manner.
