Job description
Job Title: Millwright

We are seeking a skilled Millwright who will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of units, conducting inspections and creating dimensional reports, troubleshooting fixes, pressure testing, load testing, pull testing, and coordinating repairs with other internal departments. As part of the role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects to broaden your skill set.

Responsibilities
  • Disassemble and assemble BOP stacks and related equipment.
  • Conduct inspections and create detailed dimensional reports.
  • Troubleshoot and coordinate necessary repairs with internal teams.
  • Perform pressure, load, and pull testing.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and P&ID diagrams.
  • Utilize measurement tools such as verniers, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Operate hydraulic test benches and overhead cranes safely.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Millwright with assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and P&ID.
  • Expertise in using measuring tools including vernier, caliper, and tape measurer.
  • Ability to complete inspection reporting accurately.

Work Environment

Work at a well-established shop located in SE Calgary with plans for significant expansion in 2026. Enjoy a structured shift schedule with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am‑3:00 pm, and afternoon shifts from Monday to Thursday, 2:30 pm‑1:00 am with a $3 premium. Overtime is available after 8 or 10 hours depending on the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Calgary, AB.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $42.00 hr.
