As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and running ground controls on the milling machine while ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Your role includes maintaining and monitoring depth and slope, measuring areas and quantities for daily reports, and completing safety paperwork on time. You will assist with equipment maintenance, help the general contractor with cleanup for production efficiency, and proactively address potential interruptions. Additional responsibilities include managing time sheets, floating machinery to and from worksites (5th wheel & Tag float usage), and handling other related duties as needed.
This is a seasonal summer job starting from end of May till end of October.
