Job summary

SSR Mining – Seabee Gold Operation is hiring a Temporary Labourer, Mill Operations for our Saskatchewan site. You will assist mill operators, maintain plant cleanliness, and support with minor maintenance tasks within the milling circuit.

The role requires physical capability (lifting 50 lbs), mechanical aptitude, and a proactive safety attitude. Work schedule features a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off FIFO camp arrangement with travel from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge.

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a mining industry is an asset.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and interest.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform heavy work.

Responsibilities

• Perform work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform minor maintenance on crusher circuit including changing screens and rollers, conveyors.
• Operate crushing circuit to maintain mill feed requirements when required.
• Assist mill operators and maintenance personnel as required.
• Cover holidays booked by Mill Operators
• Work with Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Report maintenance concerns to Mill Lead Hand
• Physically capable of handling demanding tasks in a mill environment
• Other duties as assigned by the department.
