Job summary

Equinox Gold, a mining company with operations across Canada, seeks a Mill Maintenance Electrician to join our Geraldton, Ontario site. You will maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade electrical systems to support safe, reliable mill operations.

Reporting to the Mill Maintenance Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor, you will interpret drawings, install automated systems, manage maintenance records and participate in preventive programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related experience in mining maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge/expertise in electrical principles and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade electrical systems, including control equipment, monitors, motors, and VFDs.
• Interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications.
• Install and maintain automated systems.
• Attend to breakdowns and emergencies on electrical equipment on site.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs and keep daily tasks log.
