Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program and current unrestricted license to practice as a social worker in a provincial/territorial authority.
• Two years of clinical social work experience in the last five years is ideal.
• Good standing letter from regulatory authority/association.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical intervention services for CAF members and families.
• Assist in resolving compassionate situations within units.
• Consult with leaders on social circumstances affecting personnel.
• Investigate and report compassionate situations as required.
• Deliver preventive and rehabilitative programs in areas such as pre/post-deployment stress, suicide prevention, family violence.
