Job summary

Canadian Armed Forces in Canada seeks Paramedics to deliver advanced medical care in field and clinical settings. You will work with Medical Officers, Nursing Officers and Combat Medics to treat the sick and injured across operations and units.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an accredited Paramedic program.
• Current registration, license, or certification to practice as a Paramedic from a provincial/territorial regulatory authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial care and transfer of care for patients.
• Administer lifesaving interventions and treatments to trauma casualties.
• Interview and record patient medical histories.
• Administer intravenous therapy and monitor vital signs.
• Provide medical support during environmental operations and operate life-support equipment.
