Job summary

The Canadian Armed Forces are recruiting Geomatics Technicians to capture, analyze, process, present, disseminate and manage geospatial data in support of military operations and government activities. Geomatics Technicians are members of the Military Engineering Branch and use advanced geospatial technologies to support the Army, Royal Canadian Navy, Royal Canadian Air Force and Canadian Special Forces.

Training begins with Basic Military Qualification followed by specialized geomatics

Qualifications

• Basic Military Qualification followed by specialized geomatics training.
• The minimum education is provincial Grade 11 or Quebec Secondary 5, including applicable math.
