Job summary

A specialized engineering consulting firm in Vancouver is seeking an Intermediate Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing technical support for civil design and structural analysis, participating in site work, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience and a commitment to delivering effective solutions. The position offers a salary of CAD 88,000 to CAD 120,000 with benefits including a comprehensive health plan and additional paid time off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience in hydropower, dams, and/or mining infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in the structural design of hydraulic structures.
• Willingness to travel for site work and work in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support to the design team including civil design and structural analysis.
• Prepare high-quality reports and present technical content to project team and clients.
• Participating in site visits and inspections.
