As a Microsoft Dynamics generalist at PwC, you will possess a broad range of consulting skills and experience across various Microsoft applications. Working in this area, you will provide consulting services to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of Microsoft applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As Microsoft Soft Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Consultants are responsible for leading D365 F&O technical design & implementation on delivery projects. They are also responsible for supporting D365 F&O sales pursuits, leading D365 F&O delivery of technical IP and asset development, and meeting the general expectations in line with their consulting grade.

  • Analyse and identify the linkages and interactions between the component parts of an entire system.
  • Take ownership of projects, ensuring their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion.
  • Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop skills outside your comfort zone, and encourage others to do the same.
  • Effectively mentor others.
  • Use the review of work as an opportunity to deepen the expertise of team members.
  • Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members and other stakeholders, escalating where appropriate.
  • Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards (e.g. refer to specific PwC tax and audit guidance), the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements.
Experience and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Work closely with clients to gather technical business requirements and document them.
  • Design and develop/customize solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations modules.
  • Manage the customisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 using X++ and C# for both on-prem and cloud.
  • Able to design, develop, test and support data integrations between third‑party, legacy systems and Dynamics using D365 web services and file‑based integration and Data entities.
  • Implement best practices and improve the ongoing maintenance process.
  • Reports development for D365 FO (SSRS).
  • Manage architecture and perform both functional and technical analysis of solution designs in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Microsoft Dynamics Lifecycle Services (LCS) Management and Executing deployments as well.
  • Assure that application design and implementation are consistent with technology strategy and perform unit testing.
  • Provide production support for software systems.
  • Having a Microsoft certification (MB-500) would be considered as a plus.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range for this position is $82,300.00 – 109,700.00 – 137,000.00 CAD Annual, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
The salary range for this position is reflected for our British Columbia region. Given our national recruiting approach, we recruit (and may hire) in other regions and therefore the salary range may differ depending on the work location. PwC is committed to competitive compensation and sharing salary ranges in accordance with applicable pay transparency legislation as they arise.
