Arobas Personnel is seeking a Microsoft 365 Solution Architect for a contract mandate with one of its clients located in Montreal.

*Remote : Hybrid- 50% in person at any MTL, Brossard, Valcourt, or Sherbrooke office*

What will your day look like?

You will take on a strategic role in designing and evolving modern technology landscapes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing end-to-end architecture frameworks (business, application, information and technology).
• Developing and implementing infrastructure solutions tailored to organizational needs: requirements analysis, platform selection, secure and scalable architecture design.
• Providing expert guidance for application and infrastructure cloud migrations: readiness assessments, planning, and seamless transitions.
• Ensuring infrastructure solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including security protocols, data encryption and cloud security configurations.
• Collaborating with internal teams to align IT solutions with business strategies.
• Estimating costs and preparing business cases for infrastructure, licensing and development initiatives.

Required technical skills

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in information systems architecture.
• Expertise in infrastructure design and deployment: Windows/Linux servers, VDI, virtualization, network projects.
• Proven experience leading cloud migration initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networks, cybersecurity, identity management, backup/restore, monitoring and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies: Azure, SharePoint, OneDrive, M365.
• Understanding of cloud service models (IaaS, CaaS, SaaS, PaaS) across Azure, GCP and AWS.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks: TOGAF, Archimate or equivalent.
• Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is a strong asset.
