Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Grader/Sorter to grade and sort incoming metal products to ensure proper processing. The role includes general yard cleanup and basic maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Candidates should be able to follow written or verbal instructions, speak and understand English, and learn new tasks as assigned. A valid driver’s license and prior scrap yard experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to speak and understand English at a basic level.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned.
• Experience in a scrap yard preferred.
• This position requires possession of a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Grade and sort incoming metal products according to appearance and quality.
• General yard cleanup and maintenance.
• Greasing and cleanup at the shear and/or shredder.
• Assist with repairs and maintenance as required in the yard.
• Provide backup or assistance throughout the yard as needed or assigned.
• Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
