Job summary

American Eagle Outfitters in Canada seeks a Merchandising Team Leader to drive sales and lead a high-performance team in delivering AEO Visual standards. You will coach staff, manage floorsets, replenish efficiently, and ensure a guest-ready store at all times.

You will recruit and train talent, provide real-time coaching, and uphold safety and asset protection standards while embodying AEO values every day.

Qualifications

• Retail management experience with people leadership.
• Ability to train and develop teams.
• Strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Knowledge of employment law basics.
• Understanding of sales floor operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and salesfloor productivity and building guest loyalty through a best-in-class guest experience.
• Ensure store is representative of AEO Brand Standards and maintain floorset execution and replenishment.
• Lead and develop team, hold staff accountable to customer service standards on the sales floor and in the fitting room.
• Recruit, hire and train strong talent to meet business needs and ensure outstanding service.
• Provide ongoing coaching, conduct development plans and performance reviews; celebrate top performance.
• Maintain store safety and asset protection standards and ensure adherence to policies.
