Job summary

The Brick is seeking a Merchandising Associate to keep Canadian retail stores, including Scarborough locations, looking inviting and sale-ready. Qualifications

• Able to lift/move heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
• Work alone as well as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work any shift, including evenings and weekends.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Hands on ability: assembling and building furniture.
• Comfortable using basic tools for furniture assembly.
• Able to prioritize tasks and maintain merchandising plans.

Responsibilities

• Moving and lifting of product
• Attach price tags & promotions to displays
• Unload trailers, organize stock, assemble & wrap furniture
• Assist customers and store staff with issues and questions regarding product
• Maintain inventory accuracy, organization and cleanliness of warehouse
• Arrange and maintain product displays according to company merchandising standards
• Verify product placement and signage to ensure compliance with promotions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
• Support the implementation of new merchandising initiatives
• Maintain a clean, tidy and visually organized sales floor
• Assembling and building furniture as assigned
