Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Vancouver is seeking an energetic team member to support merchandising, receiving and customer service duties in-store.

You will ensure accurate product placement, backroom organization, and friendly customer interactions, while adhering to health, safety and loss-prevention standards. Flexibility for nights and weekends is required, and the role includes lifting up to 50 pounds and occasional ladder work.

Responsibilities

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks.
• As directed, manage Exit Strategy and Product Return.
• Be an expert in assigned areas of product inventory, placement and expiry dates.
• Maintain Store Standard pertaining to image and trends in store.
• Ensure product displays are consumer focused and 'shoppable'.
• Receive merchandise per policies; keep backroom neat and organized.
• Ensure proper documentation for receiving and returns; support Front Store Manager in maintaining standards.
• Keep uniform and customer-facing image; acknowledge and assist customers in aisles.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and store standards; follow loss prevention policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
• Work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Lift up to 50 pounds; ladder climbing as needed.

Merchandising

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
• Uses PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks

Receiving

• Receives merchandise in accordance with the receiving policies and procedures
• Maintains a neat and organized backroom according to principles of backroom organization
• Ensures proper documentation is completed with respect to the receiving and return of goodsSupports Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining the quality and standards

Customer Service

• Clean image to the customers in accordance with uniform policy and dress code
• Takes initiative to acknowledge and assist customers in the aisles

General

• Complies with all health and safety regulations
• Complies with all Store Standards
• Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required
