Job summary

Shoppers Drug Mart in Burnaby, BC is seeking a customer-focused associate to support merchandising, receiving and front-store service. You will help organize backrooms, manage inventory tasks and ensure displays are attractive and shopper-friendly.

The role requires basic computer and cash register skills, strong organization, attention to detail and the ability to work independently with a self-motivated attitude. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends are needed.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes.
• Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks.
• Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed.
• Maintain product inventory accuracy, placement and expiry dates.
• Ensure store displays are consumer focused and 'shoppable'.
• Receive merchandise and keep backroom organized and compliant with policies.
• Support Front Store Manager in maintaining quality and standards.
• Provide customer assistance and maintain a clean image in line with policies.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and store standards.
• Be flexible for shifts including nights and weekends.

Merchandising

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
• Uses PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks
• As directed, manage Exit Strategy and Product Return
• Expert in assigned areas of product inventory, product placement and expiry dates
• Maintains Store Standard pertaining to image and trends in store
• Ensures product displays are consumer focused and “shoppable”

Receiving

• Receives merchandise in accordance with the receiving policies and procedures
• Maintains a neat and organized backroom according to principles of backroom organization
• Ensures proper documentation is completed with respect to the receiving and return of goods
• Supports Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining the quality and standards

Customer Service

• Clean image to the customers in accordance with uniform policy and dress code
• Takes initiative to acknowledge and assist customers in the aisles

General

• Complies with all health and safety regulations
• Complies with all Store Standards
• Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required
