Join a locally owned and operated store to help deliver health, beauty, and convenience services in your community, keeping the customer at the centre of everything you do.

Why this role is important?

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

MERCHANDISING:

• Organize backroom product and follow Backroom Inventory Management (BIMI) processes
• Use PDT and MMS Systems to perform daily tasks
• Manage Exit Strategy and Product Return as directed
• Become an expert in assigned areas of product inventory, placement, and expiry dates
• Maintain store standards related to image and current trends
• Ensure product displays are consumer-focused and 'shoppable'

RECEIVING:

• Receive merchandise according to policies and procedures
• Keep the backroom neat and organized following principles of organization
• Complete proper documentation for receiving and returning goods
• Support the Front Store Manager/Assistant Front Store Manager in maintaining quality and standards

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

• Maintain a clean image in accordance with uniform policy and dress code
• Initiate acknowledgment and assist customers in the aisles

GENERAL:

• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Adhere to Store Standards
• Follow loss prevention policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Planning, judgment, and decision-making skills
• Efficiency, organization, and neatness
• Ability to adapt to changing situations on the sales floor
• Cash handling responsibilities requiring accuracy and efficiency

EXPERIENCE:

• Some computer and cash register skills
• Well organized with good record-keeping abilities
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Self-motivated

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Flexible shifts, including nights and weekends

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders
