Job summary

La Vie en Rose is seeking a permanent, part-time retail associate for our West Vancouver store. You will assist with receiving, stock, pricing, and customer service while maintaining organized backroom and sales floor areas.

Ideal candidates are prepared for physical work, are organized and reliable, and can work holidays and longer hours during busy periods. This role offers hourly pay and growth opportunities within a family-owned company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physical work including lifting merchandise.
• Organized, efficient, methodical, autonomous and resourceful.
• Willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods.
• Experience handling goods is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and ensure proper storage.
• Label merchandise and correct prices as needed.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre.
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow head office policies.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

What a Typical Workday Looks Like

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

In Your Role, You Will Need To

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifying any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don't worry, we'll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, PART TIME

HOURLY SALARY : 18,25 $ - 19,70 $
