Job summary

La Vie en Rose Inc. in Canada is seeking a part-time, permanent team member to support store operations. You will receive and check merchandise, keep the backstore organized, label prices, and prepare items for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre.

Provide excellent customer service and follow head office policies. Willingness to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods is required; willingness to lift heavy merchandise is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check merchandise and keep backstore well organized.
• Ensure receipts and shipment orders are organized and identify errors.
• Label merchandise with correct prices and adjust if necessary.
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or the distribution centre quickly.
• Place products on the sales floor and maintain a clean backstore.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Follow head office policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties to support the team.

• You are organized, efficient, methodical, autonomous and resourceful;
• You have experience handling goods (an asset);
• You are willing to work holidays and longer hours during busy periods (depending on your availability);
• You are open to working holidays and longer hours during busy periods (depending on your availability).

WHAT A TYPICAL WORKDAY LOOKS LIKE

Under the supervision of the store management team, you will be responsible for receiving and checking merchandise, as well as keeping the backstore well organized. In order to perform well

in your role, you will need to:

• Make sure merchandise receipts and shipment orders are properly organized and accounted for while identifyining any potential errors;
• Ensure all merchandise is labelled with the right price and correct if necessary;
• Prepare products for transfer to other stores or to the distribution centre as quickly as possible;
• Place products on the sales floor efficiently;
• Maintain a clean and organized backstore;
• Provide excellent customer service;
• Respect and apply the policies and procedure of the various head office departments (don’t worry, we’ll explain everything to you!);
• Perform other duties where needed to support the team.

PERMANENT, PART TIME

HOURLY SALARY : 18,25 $ - 19,70 $
