Tommy Gun's Calgary is hiring a Mentor Barber for a full-time role at Beacon Hill. The position offers a $2000 signing bonus and a starting wage of $21 per hour, with performance-based pay and opportunities across a growing Canadian brand.

As a Mentor Barber you’ll lead by example, train junior barbers, and drive both client satisfaction and sales. Benefits are provided after six months of service, with RRSP contributions and vacation pay.

Requirements:

Are you a trained Journeyman-certified Barber or Hair Stylist, or in the process of completing your Apprenticeship? We're seeking individuals with:

Exceptional Customer Service Skills - can you go above and beyond for every guest, every time

In-depth Industry Knowledge and Trend Awareness
Excellent Communication Skills
Flexibility for Shift Work

As a Lead Barber / Mentor Barber at Tommy Gun’s, your responsibilities include:

Trained Barber or Stylist that can demonstrate consistent high-quality technical skill in all areas of cutting including, but not limited to, clipper cuts with fades, natural necklines, texturizing, and customization to client needs and hair type
Maximize retail opportunities through consistent and effective chair education with guests
Great customer service skills – can you go above and beyond for every guest, every time
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional time-management skills and ability to juggle competing priorities
Work collaboratively as part of the shop leadership team
Participate in Barber recruitment, retention, training and management
Retail and Sales education with all team members
Weekly and monthly reporting requirements (Sales, KPI’s, Payroll, etc.)
Execute National Promotions and Campaigns
Any other duties outlined by the Business Owner and/or Regional Manager
