  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized support plans, including behaviour and wellness plans.
  • Support crisis response and safety planning in collaboration with school leadership and divisional teams.
  • Collaborate with families to support care coordination, communication, and connection to appropriate community services.
  • Provide professional learning and coaching for school staff related to mental health, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive supports.
  • Contribute to capacity-building strategies that strengthen school-wide mental health and well-being.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation, reporting, and data collection as required by Alberta Education and divisional processes.
  • Work collaboratively within a Catholic school environment, supporting the mission and values of STAR Catholic Schools.

  • Familiarity with Alberta Education frameworks, ISSP, or school-based mental health models.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly across two school sites within the Drayton Valley community.
  • Alignment with and respect for the Catholic faith context of STAR Catholic Schools.
