Job summary

Thornbury Community Services seeks a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ homes across Cambridge and surrounding East locations. You’ll perform assessments, develop care plans, manage risk, and administer medications within a small, cohesive team.

Ideal candidates bring 12 months UK RMN experience, comfort with risk scenarios, PBS or trauma-informed approaches, strong clinical judgement, and a genuine passion for helping others.

Qualifications

  • 12 months UK-based RMN experience in community, secure, crisis, or acute settings.
  • Confidence in managing risk and using physical intervention where required.
  • Experience within PBS frameworks or trauma-informed approaches.
  • Strong clinical judgement and ethical decision-making.
  • Reliability, dedication, and commitment to continuity of care.
  • A genuine passion for making a meaningful difference to the lives of others.
