Qualifications

  • Registered Dietitian in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • Experience in an inpatient mental health setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of theories and principles of food preparation and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and care team for mental well-being.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments and provide relevant treatment.

Skills

Knowledge of clients with moderate to severe mental illness
Knowledge of Psychosocial Rehabilitation and recovery principles
Ability to conduct nutrition assessments
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing
Experience working collaboratively with an interprofessional team
Demonstrated positive interpersonal communication skills

Education

Registered Dietitian
Minimum of three years of practical experience in clinical dietetics
